Ministry is a lifestyle, not an occupation. Being a minister of Christ is the position that every believer is elevated into the moment they were born again. It is now time for every Christian to see the power that is invested in them and accept the truth of who they are in Christ and who Christ is in them.
Many believers make the mistake of thinking that ministry is for a select few and therefore they disqualify themselves from attending Bible College. Many ‘normal’ Christians loose out because they don’t see themselves as Pastors, Teachers, Prophets, Apostles or Evangelists. They are deceived into thinking that someone else will study the word and change the world.
If you have a desire to attend Bible College and long to know God more then trust that God has given you the desire. Pursue that desire at all costs and fulfil the longing that is in you. Pleasures of life only last a season but the word of God endures forever. Nothing satisfies the soul quite like the Living Word of God, it is truly health to our flesh and strength to our bones.
If you are an office worker, a labourer, a mum, a dad, a grandparent, or just an average normal person; then you are who God is seeking for; it is you whom He is calling. God doesn’t want great men with great qualifications; He wants to make the weak strong, the poor rich and to qualify you for the full measure of His power and love. There are no great men of God, only a great God in men! The word of God will enrich your heart and enable you to live with joy and peace in this world.
Study the word of God at Charis Bible College for two years and you will experience a lifetime change. A simple definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over expecting different results. If you want your life to change then it is time to make a change. The teachings at Charis allowed me to see how much God values me as His child. As a result I have been able to value others around me. The bible was always important to me but for some reason I never took the time to appreciate it. After two years of having my eyes opened to the grace that is found within this precious book, I can now spend hours within it and enjoy heavenly food that changes my heart and life.

I never realised that the fullness of God was for me! I assumed that the full time ministers of God were the ones who God gave His power to. But since I have learned that I can have all of God to myself I have been more confident to be a husband and a father knowing that all of God’s resources are available to me. I can heal people, minister the gospel and do everything a TV evangelist does….just not on TV! God has blessed my everyday life with His life giving truth of Jesus.

I always wondered what my ‘calling’ was and where I was ‘called’ to. However, now that I have learned the true nature of God I am at peace knowing that all things work together for my good because I love the Lord and I am ‘called’ according to His purpose. So now I don’t worry about the details of the future because I have realised that I have been called to be loved by God and it is ‘in’ Christ that my calling is fulfilled.

I once laid hands on a deaf man’s ears and witnessed him hear for the first time. His eyes spoke more of the experience than what his mouth could for he still spoke like a dumb man. As he wept and shouted he could do no more than hug me and jump with excitement. Within a short time he ran with great haste toward his home with the Good News. I have learned that the Word of God works, believe the word and you will receive the manifestation of the word.
